• Developing visa strategies for entrepreneurs opening new offices in the United States
• Representing biotechnology clients in securing approved “outstanding researcher” petitions to facilitate permanent residence for key scientists
• Advising a large Massachusetts-based institution in securing an O-1 “extraordinary ability” visa for one of the world’s leading theologians
• Defending PERM labor certifications in Department of Labor audits
• Advising corporations on the U.S. immigration consequences of mergers and acquisitions
• Preparing immigration policies and advising corporations on the scope of permissible pre-hire questions in connection with visa sponsorship and IRCA compliance
